- UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights – Article 18
-
“Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.”
If you’ve been here before, you might know that I prefer not to take a public stance on matters of religion or belief. That, in part, stems from my personal belief that belief, in general, is a personal matter. That is a position which I intend to maintain. It was only recently brought to my attention that the UN agrees.
If you also agree, I encourage you to check out Article 18. My good mate Martin, who has garnered the attention of this blog before, landed a gig as a columnist for ReligiousLiberty.TV. And he is tackling the international spectrum of religious liberty through his column, Article 18.
Let’s call it a side-note: He asked me to design an identity for his column. I did. Check it out in the projects sections.
